Summerdaze - 31 December to 31 January 2010
Summerdaze is a Lakes District festival of recreational, sporting, arts and cultural events staged in communities large and small for the benefit of both residents and visitors.
Many of the events are designed to let locals kick back and enjoy each other's company while giving visitors the opportunity to rub shoulders with those who live and work in the district.
The Council, the business sector, local community groups and associations all work together to deliver this very special programme which celebrates the district's outstanding natural beauty, the vibrancy of its people and welcomes those who choose to visit this memorable place.
