2012 Queenstown Chess Classic

A 9-round international tournament, open to players – of any playing strength – from both New Zealand and abroad. Everyone is welcome. Chess is for everyone – drop by and watch 10-year-old kids battling on equal terms with the experienced adults.

Queenstown Primary School Holiday Programme

Club QPS provides a safe, fun, welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 5 to 13 years old. The holiday programme offers a varied and stimulating programme for kids with use of the school grounds, library, hall and swimming pool.  Children must bring their lunch, drink bottle, sunhat and snacks for morning and afternoon tea.

The Wanaka Sunday Craft Market features handmade arts and crafts direct from the artists. Pottery, paintings, wood, wool, carving and jewellery are just a few of the crafts available at Market Corner every Sunday over January.

Puzzling World Junior Challenge Wanaka

Wakatipu One Day Horse Trial
